Call Me Vampirah - Robfire
(10 YEARS LATER)
We finally had gotten around to getting glass cups and an advanced new counter. Great more chores. I had to clean out the cups and the top of the counter everyday. I had to go to the market and restock the fruit and creme. We're having a slow night due to a storm, everyones inside, I might've as well just close early.
Just as I was going to go lock the door, there was a man- who I didn't hear come in- standing right in front of me.
He came up closer and his eyes flickered an iridescent green. There was something about his eyes that held my gaze set in his.
He came around the counter towards me. "Can you help me with something?" He took a step forward to what I, awkwardly, stepped back. His teeth... were they normal?
He looked at me with his iridescent eyes. They stared right into mine. He held me in, like a trance, and everything- but the thunder- faded away.
I stood there, melting with his eyes on me, feeling nothing.
He took a step closer to where my face and his were only inches apart. He whispered something that I couldn't barely make out.
"What?" instinctively, I stepped closer to hear what he had to say. He looked shaken, like he was debating on something.
He grabbed my hand, and kissed me softly. I was taken aback, but couldn't move, he wasn't going to
let me move.
When he had let me go, I stepped back away from him and clenched my fists, dropping his gaze.
"What are you doing?!" I shouted at him.
I didn't even give him time to answer me. I ran to the staircase to go up to my room.
I finally reached the top of the stairs and ran down the corridor to go to my room and lock the door behind me.
As soon as I open the door, he gradually starts to walk closer and closer to me. I'm frozen in place with my eyes fixated on his, not dropping his gaze.
I suddenly started to smile. I don't know why, but thinking about him made me happy for the time being.
He slowly grazed his hand down my forearm and slid his hands into mine. My heartt skipped a beat, his hands were frozen.
I slowly backed up toward the door in an attempt to make an exscape. I bolted down the corridor whena flash of green sped by me.
As I got the the head of the stairs, I looked and he was looking up at me. His eyes flickered.
As fast as light, he sped up the stairs and stood in front of me. Obviously terrified, I backed away with my hands out, as if thats going to defend me.
He snatched me up in his hard embrace and whispered in my ear, "Always and forever, I'll love you." a familiar phrase that Jacob had always said to me. My lips trembled and I shook with fear.
"No...." I whispered, and he had bit me. My blood was rishuing up to my neck and I was losing consciousness.
As far as I could tell, the storm knocked the lights out, and all I could feel was me sliping into a state of darkness, feeling nothing as I heard my name being called, but that wasn't my name anymore. Call me Vampirah.
